These boxes pop up all of the time saying that my windows registry is corrupt and needs immediate attention.I am supposed to go to a certain website and download a file to fix it, but first I have to pay $ 39.95, with no guarantee that the problem will be fixed.

It’s adware. The site infects your computer in order to get you to pay for their removal software. Pretty dumb, huh?
