I Just got Cakewalk software and everytime i try to run the cd, it stops around 68% and it says regedit is not a valid win32 application. What do I need to do?

reformat your computer or try a different installation. If you have a “backup point” revert your computer to an earlier time – the earliest one to your initial install you can do..
press f1 for help and support under tasks choose do a system restore – then restore my computer to an earlier time..
pick the earliest date you can do.. then try the install if it doesn’t work you may need to replace your regedit – I think you are hacked though.. you can replace your win32 folder etc.. as well
but to keep it simple if it doesn’t work then I’d consider reformating after trying a different install of cakewalk..
